ST Math®: K-6 grade-leveled instructional software is designed to help all students reach math proficiency through self-paced, language-independent, mastery-based objectives. It is closely aligned to state and Common Core State Standards for Mathematics and integrates with core instruction. ST Math games use interactive, graphically-rich animations that visually represent mathematical concepts to improve conceptual understanding and problem-solving skills. Through a 1:1 scaffolded learning environment, games gradually increase in difficulty and provide immediate feedback. ST Math features embedded assessments, detailed reporting of student learning patterns and whiteboard integration. Teacher-guided instruction integrating ST Math software activities in the classroom rounds out MIND’s blended learning model. In addition to accessing the software on desktop or laptop computers, teachers and students can access ST Math on supported tablets, enabling anywhere, anytime learning. With touch functionality, ST Math further immerses students in a richly interactive, hands-on and gesture-based learning experience.

ST Math®: Transitional Kindergarten is a comprehensive blended learning math program for schools offering a transitional year of instruction before kindergarten. The program addresses transitional kindergarteners’ unique developmental needs while preparing their minds for the Common Core aligned-math instruction they’ll encounter in coming years. Students love engaging with the ST Math software games that present math concepts visually. And teachers receive the support they need through step-by-step activities that connect the math instruction across multiple modes of learning.
ST Math: Transitional Kindergarten is available as an add-on program together with two or more grade levels of ST Math.
ST Math®: Fluency is designed to help students build fluency with addition and multiplication math facts, building speed and accuracy with understanding. The use of animated virtual manipulatives enables an intuitive process of learning that makes basic math fact recall effortless. This automaticity frees students’ working memory for problem-solving. MIND’s unique visual approach ensures that students memorize their basic addition and multiplication facts while gaining a solid conceptual understanding of the operations. ST Math: Fluency incorporates continuous, built-in assessments to detect the need to accelerate a student through content in which they demonstrate fluency (while continuously monitoring that content to ensure fluency is retained) or to identify if a student needs additional practice in a particular area. If additional practice is needed, the software adapts to provide it.

ST Math+Music®: K-6 combines a research-based music curriculum with the ST Math: K-6 instructional software. MIND’s original research showed that music training improved spatial-temporal reasoning, the cognitive skill used by the ST Math software to teach and illustrate math principles. In combination, the music training and the instructional software have achieved even greater gains in test scores. Music has a mathematical architecture, and as young students learn music they are also learning to recognize patterns and symmetries, and experiencing and hearing the concepts of counting and fractions. There are 4 levels of instruction in reading sheet music and playing piano.
